Is changing the environment enough to change the individual?

Is changing the environment enough to change the individual?
Is it enough to change the personality of the individual?
No. Not enough. Let's go into detail about the reasons:

The change in the place in which the individual lives .. The change of the faces surrounding the individual .. All these things are merely external factors that help to "shorten" the time required to bring about a tangible change, but they are not the main reason for it to occur. The desire to change is the number one driver. The ideas, impulses and aspirations that the individual heart abounds is the first engine.

Change does not start from the outside, but from the inside.

We know that our thoughts are the lens through which we see the world, but that is not all. Our thoughts are the lens through which we see ourselves as well. The drive to change is born the moment the individual realizes that what he sees does not like or suffices him. When he feels he doesn't want to stay with the current version any longer.

The drivers of change are not the same. The individual may change because he is tired of self-accompanying for so long. The individual may change out of curiosity. The individual may change motivated by modifying the course. The individual may change because he is looking for something bigger. The individual may change because he is still searching for the self that matches him.

Or the individual may not change at all.

When a person sees that the current version of himself has reached perfection, then he will not want to change anything. A view of this narrowness of perfection means that its owner has reached his limits, and that what he carries in his head is not enough to see him further.
The second - and worse - reason is that the individual may not have sufficient awareness of himself to be able to see it. He simply doesn't see anything at all, so the idea of change itself is out of the question.

You may meet with someone after 20 years of separation to find that they are the same, and you may meet with someone after a 20-day separation to find that you barely know them. The strangeness of such situations disappears when we notice that temporal and spatial distances are not what change individuals, but rather what they carry in their heads.
